Ticketing Information


Tickets to all events in The York Festival 2021 Program can be purchased online via our website at www.yorkfestival.com.au. To book tickets, navigate to the ‘What’s On’ page and click on each event you want to book tickets for. You can use the search and filter functions to reduce the list of events on this page. 

The York Community Resource Centre has kindly offered to assist anyone looking to book tickets in person. The centre is located at 89 Avon Terrace, York WA 6302 and is open from 9:00am to 4:30pm Monday to Friday.

During the Festival, tickets can be purchased in person at our Box Office located at the York Town Hall at the following times or on the door of some of our Festival venues:

  • Friday 23 September to Monday 27 September 10:00am to 3:00pm
  • Friday 1 October to Sunday 3 October 10:00am to 3:00pm

Please note: our box office will not be running on Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 October.

Tickets can be booked over the phone with our ticketing staff on the following days and phone numbers:

All bookings through Eventbrite attract the following booking fees:

  • Free Event / Registration Only: No fees
  • Paid Tickets: 3.5% + $0.89 per ticket sold including payment processing (Visa, MasterCard or AMEX).

Ticket prices may fluctuate without notice. Any changes made are in accordance with Live Performance Australia’s (LPA) Ticketing Code of Practice as required by our membership. Further information can be found here.


All ticket purchases are final and shall not be refunded, except as required by law or in accordance with the Live Performance Australia (LPA) Ticketing Code of Practice or as otherwise specified by York Festival. Lost or stolen tickets purchased for events that have unreserved or general admission seating will not be replaced.


If you feel unwell before a show, we ask that you please stay home in order to keep our community safe. Please contact us by email at ticketing@yorkfestival.com.au prior to the show and we can assist with exchanging the value of your tickets for another event in the Festival.

In the event of a lockdown, outbreak or government advised restriction, The York Festival will postpone the event and reschedule the event within a 12 month period. Tickets will be transferred to the rescheduled date of the performance. Patrons may contact The York Festival and request a refund. If the event cannot be rescheduled within 12 months of the original date a full refund will be given.


If you have received a York Festival Ticketing Voucher, simply enter the code provided in your confirmation email in the checkout to redeem it.

Acknowledgement of Country

The York Festival acknowledges the Traditional Owners of the Land on which we gather, the Ballardong Noongar people, and their continuing connection to land, waters and community. We pay our respects to their Elders past, present and emerging and we extend that respect to other First Australians today.
