Want to be a stallholder at the 2016 York Festival? Whatever your passion, if you design and/or makes beautiful handcrafted goods we want to hear from you.
A picture speaks a thousand words and it’s all we at The York Festival have to judge the quality of your work. So before submitting your application, invest some time in learning how to photograph your work or consider having it photographed professionally. Not only will this help us to see the details of your work, great photos allow us to better promote you and your work if your application is successful.
Take into consideration:
- We require your images to be a minimum size of 1200 x 1200 pixels. Generally they will be at least over 1MB at this size.
- Landscape images tend to work best, particularly when displayed as a feature image on our website.
- Images that can be cropped without losing too much of your work are best (i.e. to a square format for Instagram).
Here are some examples of beautiful photography from previous stallholders. These are a guide for the quality we’re looking for in stallholders work and photography at The York Festival in 2016.
