The March Mini-Fest 2021 is a one weekend program of free or very low cost arts and cultural activities run over the weekend of 6 & 7 March 2021 to uplift, entertain, amuse and inspire participants!
On the program so far: Live Music, Poetry Slam Competitions, Opera on a Truck, Trail Hikes, Kid’s Escape Room, Live Art Classes, Cookery Work shops, Find the Feature Race, York Convict Walk and more.
As you have come to expect from The York Festival team, we have created a varied program with a bit of something for everyone: Live Art Classes, Trail Hikes, Yoga in the Park, Cookery Workshops, Old Mill Markets and a amazing range of music offerings from Australiana to Opera! A Kids Escape Room, a Family Art Workshop, the Dogs of York photo competition and a GINORMOUS water slide – adult sized if you are brave enough!
Please visit York on Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 March – we’d really love to see you! York is a delightful 90 minute drive from Perth and we are hoping that restrictions are lifted to allow our city neighbours to visit.
One of the key themes of the March Mini-Fest is gratitude – and we all have so much to be grateful for. Our Bridge of Gratitude invites you to take a ribbon and write what you personally are grateful for. We want to festoon our Swing Bridge with gratitude ribbons. Make sure that you take the time to add your contribution.
