Kids Workshops – For Free!

We’re delighted to be presenting two free kids workshops both designed to develop children’s interest in ‘making’.  Stitching Stories will teach children under 12 years the joy of applying needle and thread to fabric and discovering the endless creative possibilities.  Textile artist Anne Williams will be presenting this half day workshop which will teach the basics of sewing by hand.

For those who register for Denise Browne’s Pop-Up Puppets workshop there will be loads of fun making these puppets, perhaps for themselves or maybe as Christmas gifts.  See how inventive your child can get with some fabric scraps and other materials to create a puppet that is truly unique.  All kids workshops are free except for a materials fee that may be paid to the tutor.

For more information checkout our workshop program here.
