What is a horologist? Join Ian Phillips on his exploratory tour of York’s historic clocks and find out what makes him tick. Discover why York has THREE significant public clocks in the main street (Avon Terrace) when most towns in Australia struggle to to have even one. Clock conservator Ian Phillips will explain the historical, political, social and economic issues with these clocks and investigate the mystery of York’s “missing” clock.
